Times are a changin'
Hi Everyone. Well, this is it...my official blog site. I figure I have a lot of free time now, so might as well make use of it by being productive....hence, a BLOG. According to "Emily Post's Polite Blogging Volume 24", I guess this is where I tell everyone a little about myself and who I am. I'm 31 and live in Phoenix, also known as the Valley of the Sun. Yea, it's hot here...but it's a "dry heat" (just take a hair dryer and put in in your face...THAT's a dry heat). I do enjoy the desert lifestyle and all that it offers in the way of outdoor activities and opportunity. For those of you that don't know, PHX is the 5th largest city by population, and it's growing faster and faster which makes it a pretty cool place to live. Lots of different people from different places.
I recently became single after almost 6 years in a relationship. It's been hard moving on from it, but I know both he and I will make it through the adjustment period and move on with our lives. I have a feeling we will be good friends. I like to be active in most things, I love being outside and enjoying the 320 days of sunshine; be it hiking in the mountains, going to the gym, swimming in the billions of pools in the valley, or just enjoying a good cup of coffee in the morning out on my deck.
I really enjoy traveling all around the country and soon the world. I travel a fair amount for work to the cities of San Francisco, San Diego, Colorado Springs, Minneapolis and other cities in the West. I try to get to my home town of Cleveland, Ohio (Northfield Center suburb) a couple times a year to visit with my family and friends. I just came back from a great trip to SF this past Memorial Day Weekend with my friend Travis and Mark and had a great time. I've posted some pics of the trip ...hope you enjoy.
